Island Kingdom of Ignacium

About the Characters

Caranauba.

A mysterious, elderly magic user from the mountains of Magistile, Caranauba is extremely intelligent and wise. After the magic missiles run out, her fragile form bravely plunges into battle, wacking foes over the head with her magestaff.

Despite being incredibly strong, she prefers to be pulled around in a wagon by Willamina.

Her proficiencies include Soothsaying, Naturalism, Magical Engineering, Collegiate Wizardry and Alchemy.

Doran Thexplorer

A bear of a man, Doran Thexplorer's dexterity and charisma surprise and charm new acquaintances. He is often the first of the party to react to dire circumstances and his mapping skills are unparalleled in Ignacium.

Unfortunately for Doran, though, he has less than average wisdom and is unduly influenced by the very handsome and cunning Victor Redgrave.

His proficiencies are mapping, ranged fighting and animal reflexes.

Rigel

After tracking the party to follow the Elven Princess Doralea, Rigel decided to join the adventurers for gold and glory, despite a distaste for groups. As a powerful, agile Elven spellsword she came as a welcome addition and proves her worth as a fighter and spellcaster during every encounter.

Rigel's Elven eyes usually spot treasure before her party mates, and she often laughs about the inadequacies of humans while pocketing a few gold before they notice.

Her proficiencies include intimidation, unflappable casting and riding.

Doralea

In the tradition of the many Disney Princesses before her, Doralea spends most of her time playing in the woods, singing songs with the little birdies and frolicking with the baby bambis. She ran away from her domineering family to see the world and practice the art of the Elven Nightblade.

The party is currently unaware of her abilities, as she usually just runs, hides or screams when an encounter begins.

Steve Stevenson

An enormous, burly pirate from Jutland, Steve Stevenson easily cuts through all that oppose him. The ultimate killing machine, Steve is the strongest and most dexterous fighter Ignacium has seen since the Age of Heroes. The party often reflects on how lucky they are that he decided to forsake the evil ways of the Jutlandese for an honest adventuring career.

Steve is in search of a talking parrot.

His proficiencies include seafaring, sword fighting and military tactics.

Victor "Redgrave" Poluk

The youngest son of the Duke and Duchess of Crassen, Victor Poluk was tied to the many responsibilities of his house and unable to pursue the adventuring lifestyle he desired until, under the cover of a holiday feast, he slipped away and took on the pseudonym "Redgrave."

As a thief he relies on his almost inhuman dexterity and charming personality, but his legendary good looks and noble naivety betray him at times. Willamina's beauty has also entranced him and she holds great sway over him.

His proficiencies include combat reflexes and intimidation.

Willamina

Willamina's great beauty and angelic singing voice are the kiss of Ophelite, the goddess of the arts. Due to this, Willamina dedicates her life to the goddess and is rewarded by songs infused with divine power.

Her kind heart and charismatic personality only enhance her ability to charm all around her, making it easy for her to sway the party and earn additional gold while in town. She has also formed a great bond with Caranauba and tends to her with great care.

Her proficiencies include singing, string instruments, loremastery and laying of hands.
